HISTORY
The Lengacher family’s roots run deep in America.  Their Ancestors migrated to the US in 1870 and still work the same land and family businesses they started over a century and a half ago. Generation upon generation of Lengachers have passed down their land, their work ethic and their faith to the generation that followed.  Brothers, Amos and Alvin Lengacher are the latest generation to keep this tradition alive. Both brothers began working at the feet of their father, a farmer and licensed General Contractor for 40 years, until they started their own company, Lengacher Brothers Builders.  Like many entrepreneurs, they started small, but by 2018, they had entered into an agreement to become a manufacturer for Prairie Built Barns, a subsidiary of CTH, one of the largest barn and shed distribution companies in the Midwest.  In fact, they are the exclusive manufacturer for the Midwest’s Northern territory, which includes, Norther Indiana, North Western Ohio, Southern Michigan and the North Eastern corner of Illinois. As of 2025, Lengacher Brothers Builders LLC builds Approximately 4000 back yard sheds and yard barns every year while Lengacherbro Transport offers the handling and deliveries as well as custom transport.
